That Touch of Pit is a place to celebrate pit bull-like dogs while changing minds. Dogs that have a specific look to them are all termed pit bulls, which carries a very negative connotation. We strive to not only show the positive aspects of pit bull-like dogs as family pets, but also to show that every dog should be treated as unique individuals. We're also the partner blog for Bully Project, a pit bull outreach, education and rescue organization, sharing stories of their events, dogs & people.
We use our blog on a daily basis to create social impact by showing the positive aspects of pit bull-like dogs. By telling stories about these animals, we’re able to show how their just like any other family pet out there. Along the way, we use our experience to share useful, helpful information about all dogs so that we can make an impact on animal abuse and neglect in our city, state, country and world. By publicly removing the stigma attached to pit bulls through the media, we can create a more open minded and educated society, stop animal cruelty and greatly decrease the number of homeless animals everywhere.
